Boat Capsize In Lagos
The Public Information Officer, National Emergency Management Agency, (NEMA), Mr. Farinloye Ibrahim told Daily Times that a boat have capsized around Navy Town, Apapa, Lagos.
Farinloye said, "NEMA received alert around 12:05am on Friday, January 24, 2014 about a boat reported to have capsized in Apapa around Navy Town, 3 people were said to have been rescued alive while others are reportedly drowned. The source could not confirm number of people in the boat. No further details yet."

UPDATE: NEMA rescue survivors
The National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) leads a search and rescue team to find victims of a boat that capsized after reportedly colliding with another boat in the Navy town area of Lagos.
Other team members of the rescue team includes Navy Special Boat Service, Nigeria Inland Water Agency Police Disaster Unit.
